We, as people who follow in the footsteps of contemporary, rational and scientific thought, take an oath to leave the same universal mindset to the generations behind us. Atatürk's own words are the best guide for us in this regard: "Turkish Nation, you should know that the Republic of Turkey cannot be the land of sheikhs, dervishes, disciples, and their members. The truest and real cult is the way of civilization. To do what civilization dictates is enough to be human." As we celebrate the 96th anniversary of the proclamation of our Republic, we promise to continue to promote the great Ataturk’s philosophy of peace and humanity all over the world with great pride and honor.
